Concert ZAZ

By Armand Kovacs

I love Jazz. Ever since I was in high school, I was a fan of the all-time classics like Louis Armstrong and Ray Charles but in 2010 a French Jazz singer came into the scene with really beautiful and soulful songs. This singer is Zaz and we’ve had the pleasure of seeing her perform this Saturday [16/03/2019] at the Rockhal.

As always, the Rockhal was full to the brim with people that wanted to have a good time. How was the concert? Amazing. This was a nice show of showmanship. Zaz made us go through sadness, joy and many other cornucopias of feelings while singing both the new songs from her album and going through all the old songs that launched her career.

Speaking of the setup, lights and atmosphere, everything was really well thought through. Each song had its own visual representation that just added to it’s magic. Zaz really knew how to properly engage with the audience throughout the 2h show. Thus, not long after she came on stage (and during the whole show) all people were singing alongside her.

Now we also have to give credit to the band. They each had a chance to show us their skills and amazed us with really good solos and proof of skill.

All in all, it was an amazing experience, we really enjoyed it and I recommend you go and experience it yourself and feel the magic.
