FINAL COUNTDOWN!
Fundamental Monodrama Festival is back with its 7th edition, starting tomorrow and going til June 19th. The Festival already seduced in the past editions with its minimalist approach: one stage, one artist. Plus, those artists are not afraid of facing the public and they won’t mince their words. From political manifesto, to several creations and the “Minimono”, children and grown-ups will find happiness.
On the programme are several French, German, Luxembourgian and English speaking performances with artists coming from 10 different countries: Jordan, Lithuania, Iran, Canada, Iraq, Island, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. During 10 days you’ll be able to choose between 17 different monodramas including 10 pieces that are still under creation. The Festival will be held in three different locations: the Banannefabrik, the théâtre des Casemates and the Kulturhaus Niederanven.
Tomorrow the Festival opens with “Dans les yeux du ciel” from Rachid Benzine. The story of a prostitute in the middle of the Arab spring promises a whirlwind of emotions.
